This publication which was organized by Seth Ferris and edited by Peter Zellner, it documents a series of proposals which attempt to shape the landscape of downtown Los Angeles' historic downtown industrial neighborhood. In order to properly frame the projects, a companion reader which included a brief assessment of the legal and social implications of development in the area was included. Publication was developed as part of an NEA grant with the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
